Our Story

We are Hannah and Jordan Petersen. We met at a roller skating party on Halloween in 2016. We spent lots of the next year together with a close knit group of friends. In August of 2017 Hannah asked Jordan out on a date to the drive in and we have been together ever since then. We got married one year later in 2018 and will be celebrating our six year anniversary this August. On Hannah’s birthday in 2020 we added a third member to our little family. Maicoh is a super sweet but crazy Italian Greyhound who brings a lot of fun into our home. In May of 2019 we decided we were ready to be parents. After a year of trying to get pregnant and only getting negative tests we decided to try infertility treatments. We spent the next three years in and out of doctors offices trying everything we could to have a baby. We did four rounds of IUI and two rounds of IVF wihtout any luck. When the second round transfer resluts came back negative we decided to start looking at other promising options. After looking into it we decided adopting was something that sounded right for our family. We are so excited to be parents and can’t wait to add a new little person into our family.
